WELCOME TO THE PROUD BIRD

The Proud Bird, a historic and iconic restaurant with a strong tie to the local community, makes its triumphant return as a new food hall with interactive aviation exhibits and a renovated events center. 

The Proud Bird was named LA's Hottest Food Hall by Food Network. It features a new look and feel as a reimagined Food Bazaar with six culinary kitchens inspired by Asian, Italian and American cuisines and will feature the famous Bludso's BBQ. The space has an open-air feel and industrial accents to celebrate the power of flight with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of LAX’s approach runways. Upon entering the food hall, guests are greeted by a suspended P-40 Flying Tiger replica and aircraft memorabilia – a nod to David C. Tallichet Jr.’s and all veterans' service during the Second World War. Communal tables, lounge seating, and the sleek Mile High Club bar and lounge surrounds the open kitchen area and provides elevated food and beverage experiences.
